Four Ways to Share a Math Idea
Today you will learn to share a math idea in four ways, explain your reasoning, and tell what your answer means. A representation is a way to show a math idea. The four kinds are symbols, diagrams, graphs, and language. We will use one story: 3 plates, each with 4 tacos, to try all four ways.
