Introduction

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to build the right graphic organizer to collect data. A graphic organizer is a drawing that holds information in a neat way. Picture counting birds at a feeder for one week. A table works well. Make a column for the day and a column for the number of birds. Fill in one row each day. A bar graph works too. Draw one bar for each day. A taller bar means more birds. Label the bottom with the days and the side with the numbers.
